It's far past time I inaugurated this blog with a first post!
I think as authors we all come to a point where we sit down and think, right. I gotta publish something. This year I'm going to commit to a project and finish it.
2020 was that year for me. I sat down and wrote down what I thought would be a "test run". Just a short novel, I told myself. Don't get overly attached.
Well... you can probably guess how that turned out.
What was initially just a fun omegaverse romp in medieval Scotland evolved into a 3-book series, then a 6-book series, and suddenly I was overly attached to the characters, worldbuilding at every waking moment, making playlists... you know the drill.
It's taken me a while to actually get the first volume properly wrapped up and ready for the bookshelf, so I'm super happy to be able to put it out there at long last. 2020 might've been the year I finally committed to taking a project all the way to publication - this year is the year I try to reach all the deadlines I set for myself.
Here's to hoping it'll all go according to plan! :'D
